Welcome to Arts Elevation
Arts Elevation is a dance studio based in the North of Johannesburg, South Africa. We specialise in all forms of dancing including acrobatics, contemporary, hip-hop, b-boy, jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre, competition dance and more.
The studio was established as Dawn's Dance Studio in 1969 by Dawn Meyer and was later rebranded as Arts Elevation.
Arts Elevation enrols dancers from the age of 3 to adult and our dance classes range from beginner to majors, as well as teachers certificates. Arts Elevation also supplies scripting, choreography, and dancers for all forms of corporate or television dance and drama events.
Our studio offering grows each year based on the trends of the Johannesburg dancing community and we are pleased to be able to meet the needs of every dancer at any stage of their dance career. Arts Elevation Studio
Arts Elevation classes are professionally conducted in a friendly, colourful environment. The emphasis is on developing the dancer technically, mentally and socially while always displaying enjoyment and love of dance. Our open classes and workshops encourage a broader knowledge of each genre.
Training is of a high standard, maintaining a record of achievement. Although examinations are not compulsory, we encourage exam participation as the dancer gains strength, confidence, and self-esteem.
We enable our dancers to compete in various competitions at both regional and national level, with the possibility of international competition.
